Lands

Server offers land claiming feature to protect your buildings.

Camps

Camps are useful for beginners. You can create a camp as temporary protection of your belongings. Camps are free to create and limited to 3x3 chunks in size and exist for a day. Players can have only one camp at a time.

Camps can be created using /land createcamp <name> command (unlocked at Newbie).

Lands

You can create a land for more persistent protection of your base/building.

Note

Newbies can't claim or join lands!

Land limits

  • Newbie: 0 lands
  • Player:

    • Can own 5 lands
    • Can have up to 50 subareas per land
    • Can be a member of up to 100 lands
    • Can have up to 50 members in their lands (per land)
  • VIP:

    • Can own up to 10 lands
    • Can have up to 100 subareas per land
    • Can have up to 100 members in their land (per land)

Operations with lands

All possible operations with lands listed here:

  • Land creation - /land create <name>, costs 81 gold (9 ingots)
  • Land renaming - /land rename <new_name>, costs 81 gold (9 ingots)
  • Changing land owner - /land setowner <player>, costs 5184 gold (stack of gold blocks)
  • Main block reposition - done via GUI, costs 1 gold

Chunks

Claiming is done per chunk. After creating a land, you'll claim free one chunk. But you can extend your land as much as your role and other factors allows you to (explained below).

Claiming is done with /land claim command. It will add a chunk you're currently standing on to your land.

Note

You can claim only neighboring chunks. Claims that violate that restriction will cause a new land creation.

Note

Before editing a land, you must select it with /lands edit <name>

Claim Limits

Each player has a limit on how much chunks they can have in their land:

  • Newbie: 0 chunks
  • Player: at least 1000 chunks per land
  • VIP:

    • at least 1500 chunks per land.
    • increase the claim limit by 25 chunks in lands which they are members

Combat

If player attacks another player, they will be tagged for 30 seconds so that, regardless of land settings, other players can attack them.

Warning

If a player with active combat tag logs out, he will be killed!

Storage

Lands also provide a free storage that provides 27 slots, like a chest. It can be accessed by any member of a land, by using main block barrel or using /lands storage command.

Flags

Lands have set of natural flags that can be used to customize game logic on those lands.

Available flags are:

  • Entity Griefing - allow entity to grief block? (e.g. creeper explosion destroys blocks). Disabled by default.
  • TNT Griefing - allow TNT to destroy blocks? Disabled by default.
  • Piston Griefing - allow pistons from a wilderness to push into the area? Disabled by default
  • Fire Spread - Should fire spread? Fire can not spread from wilderness into lands, even without this flag being set. Disabled by default
  • Block Spreading - Should blocks, such as amethyst blocks be able to spread into an area? This only affects blocks that are spreading from an area that is part of the same land. Blocks from the wilderness can never spread into claims, regardless of whether this flag is set or not.

Banks

Each land has its own bank account, which is used to pay for claims/upkeep and collect taxes from members.

Bank commands:

  • /lands balance - check land balance
  • /lands deposit <amount> - deposit your own money into the land bank
  • /lands withdraw <amount> - withdraw money from the land bank into your own account

Note

Some operations (like claiming chunks) fallbacks to your personal account if the land bank doesn't have enough money.

Upkeep

For the usage of land claiming feature you will be charged an upkeep. The rate is 1 gold per chunk per week.

You can see your upcoming upkeep by using /lands upkeep command.

Warning

Land owners will be notified of the upkeep 2 hours in advance.

If a land fails to pay the upkeep, it will be deleted!

Info

Upkeep is collected into server treasury. Later it will be used to finance players' projects.

Taxes

As a land owner, you can tax your members. Taxes are set per subareas (if a land has no sub ares then this will be the default area), tax amount limits are:

  • Minimum: 0 (disables tax)
  • Maximum: 100

You can set them via GUI - /lands menu.

Members can see their upcoming tax payments by using /lands taxes command.

Warning

Players will be notified of the tax payment 2 hours in advance.

If a player fails to pay the tax, he will be removed from the land members!

Levels

Lands have levels, that gives them some benefits. Each level has a requirement that must be met by a land.

Levels:

  1. Settlement - base level, no reqs, no benefits
  2. Village

    Requirements:

    • Chunks: 30
    • Balance: 576 gold (stack of ingots)
  3. Town

    Requirements:

    • Chunks: 100
    • Balance: 5184 gold (stack of blocks)
    • Members: 3
  4. Province

    Requirements:

    • Chunks: 500
    • Balance: 139968 gold (27 stacks of blocks)
    • Members: 5
  5. Land

    Requirements:

    • Chunks: 1000
    • Balance: 279936 gold (54 stacks of blocks)
    • Members: 10

Note

A land will be downgraded, if it no longer meet its current level requirements
